Started in the Financial Industry 25 years ago as a Market Maker on the exchange floor of the European Options Exchange in Amsterdam. Witnessed the whole transformation from Open Outcry Trading to the current automated Screen trading. Already then I was building the bridges between the Business and IT as business representative. My next step was as a Wholesale Broker for a Clearing and Custodian bank in Amsterdam, executing orders across all asset classes until stepped over from Treasury to the Business Information Management department in 2009.
Here I have played multiple roles (Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Project Management) across all the different Treasury processes from front to back. I have experience in Exchange traded products like Equities, Options and Futures, trading of FX and Money Market products, Securities Borrowing and Lending but also Cash Management and Collateral Management.
Beginning 2017 I moved to one of our vendors. Became Senior Treasury Consultant in the Professional Services Team of the Ambit Quantum division of FIS Global (former Sungard). Implementing Quantum at the larger corporates accross Europe. From 2021 I continued to work as Treasury Consultancy but now as contractor.
